Hey! I’m Christy, the girl behind the shaker, trying to develop (and drink) as many cocktails as possible – in an effort to bring the best ones to you. Though I do have my bartending license (which I sought in a post-breakup haze years ago), I don’t claim to be a pro mixologist in any sense of the phrase. I’m just a girl with an affinity for booze and the company that comes along with it!
I started experimenting with cocktails by creating a new drink each Thursday for my fiancé and myself. It was an excuse to both indulge my creative side and expand our bar holdings. After just posting each week on Instagram, I thought it might be nice to have a little more space to document and share my sips. For some reason, my friends and family thought it was a great idea, and this blog was born.
