This cocktail—the French Tart—was one I created for a super fun event with Confetti Kitchen and La Tourangelle in SF. The night was perfect—complete with a DIY salad dressing bar, a body scrub station, and of course, delicious cocktails! You can see more pictures over on my events page.
Have you ever tried adding oils to your drinks? I haven’t experimented much with it, but thought La Tourangelle’s flavorful oils really added a lot of dimension to an otherwise simple cocktail.
You can use oils in a variety of ways in your drinks—as a rinse or a garnish of sorts, just to name a couple. Here, I simply drizzled a little at the very end, which gives the drink a smooth mouthfeel and a delicious aroma as you sip. Definitely give this one a try at home!
